Palmer's Passages

And so it begins. I have been sending various "Palmer Updates" to folks via email, but I thought it was about time to get fancy. I figure that this way I can keep folks up-to-date on the happenings of my crazy life, without sending old-fashioned mass emails. I hope you enjoy my updates, random comments, strange sense of humor, and delightful pictures. It is my hope that Palmer's Passages will cure all known diseases, end world hunger, and bring back "Animaniacs". Enjoy.

Livin' the Dream...or Chasing it?

'ello!

Well, I am officially back in LA. As an international criminal, I am not allowed back in Europe until after Oct 26th (very scandalous), and as a result, can resume the chasing of the acting dream.

I will say that it is nice to be home. Being near family, friends, and my favorite restaurants, is always a plus. I did escape to Seattle last weekend to see my good friend Rob Garey get married and had a wonderful time! It was wonderful seeing friends I had not seen in years and getting a chance to "go to Seattle" without ever seeing Seattle. Instead, I was whisked around by my other good friend Chad Watson on a native's tour of the area. From eating organic donuts at Mighty-O's to dinner with nice folks in their beautiful home, to bowling in Bellevue...it was a great weekend.

To cap it off, I met another good friend and his roommates for lunch at an awesome BBQ place (located at a truck stop, yet voted Best BBQ in 2006 and 2007...when asked what happened the past two years, the owner simply said, "we got too busy to care." 'Nuff said), and then a walk through a creepy, abandoned railway tunnel. Of course, we had to jump a fence and scoff at the "No Trespassing" sign placed outside of the 2-mile tunnel. A true adventure indeed.

Upon arriving back home, I immediately set off to rehearse and prepare for the D23 Expo (Disney's big 4-day convention-style event). I was asked to represent AbD by giving a presentation, and visiting with folks. I had a great time and the presentation went very well.

Now, it's back to the life of auditions, working at the Happiest Place on Earth, and living (or should I say, "chasing") the dream. Hopefully I'll have good news to report in the near future, but in the meantime, know that if you're life ever seems uncertain, frightening, odd, and somewhat wild, then you have someone who can relate.

Many blessings,

Palmer
