Palmer's Passages

And so it begins. I have been sending various "Palmer Updates" to folks via email, but I thought it was about time to get fancy. I figure that this way I can keep folks up-to-date on the happenings of my crazy life, without sending old-fashioned mass emails. I hope you enjoy my updates, random comments, strange sense of humor, and delightful pictures. It is my hope that Palmer's Passages will cure all known diseases, end world hunger, and bring back "Animaniacs". Enjoy.

My Next Adventure

Well, friends, a new adventure begins for yours truly...

On Valentine's Day, I was offered an opportunity to be an Adventure Guide for the Adventures by Disney program this summer. The offer is to travel abroad with Disney from May through September and lead groups through various destinations around the world. While there is the chance it could change, I am currently being placed in Ireland!

The day after my play closes (which I'll write about in my next BLOG) I depart for Epcot where I will train and "play" for 2 weeks. I will then wait about a month and then depart for Ireland for field-training. I'll begin leading trips in June of 2007 and will bounce back and forth between Ireland and California throughout the summer months. I am thrilled that I get to keep my job with the Disneyland Resort and will continue to perform there during the times I am back in the states.

Feel free to check-out the Adventures by Disney website at www.adventuresbydisney.com

The program is amazing, the trips are incredible, and this appears to be the opportunity of a lifetime! To be able to travel and live in Europe once again...and get paid to do so...is a dream come true!

"But what about your voiceover career Mr. Palmer?"

Well, I will be recording my animation voiceover demo next week and hope to have the demo fully produced within a few weeks. The plan is to continue working on the development of my career in the voiceover world, while also partaking in this amazing adventure.

When it comes down to it, I must realize that this life is all about appreciating God's beauty, living the adventure, being wild at heart, and having no regrets. Since I am 24 years old with few attachments, I feel like this is the only time in my life I can participate in something such as this. I hope that God blesses this decision.

I'll keep you all posted on where I end up and how training at Epcot goes. I hope you all had an equally amazing Valentine's Day!

Blessings,

Palmer
